Antique early 19c French 2 volume book set titled, Entrennes A Ma Fille (New Years Gift To My Daughter). Published in Paris 1816. It’s filled with different short stories written in French. There is a bookplate dated 1839 on the front board. Full leather binding with gilt details, marbled endpapers, and gilded fore edges. Illustrated and still contains the original silk bookmarks. Just a sweet set! There is some wear to the leather and boards. Volume 2 has a crack in the front bottom board (about an inch) but it is still holding strong. A very good early 1800s set!
