Antique 19c The Keepsake Lady Blessington Book Set 1842-45 & 1851

Antique 19c half leather volumes of The Keepsake, years dated 1842, 1843, 1844, 1845, and 1851. Edited by the Countess of Blessington and all in similar condition. Brown leather and dark green binding with floral gilt detailing on the spines. Some minor wear and marks to exterior binding, mild age darkening and foxing to interior pages. Still very bright and clean. No loose pages or broken hinges but I would still handle with care. Highly illustrated. Bookplate from Thomas Good. Overall these are in very good condition! 

These books contain poems and short stories from famous (and not so famous) authors. Meant to be given as a gift for the year. 

Countess of Blessington (1789-1849), Marguerite Gardiner, was an Irish novelist, journalist, and literary hostess.
