Antique mid to late 1800s oil on canvas portrait painting of a young woman. Believed to be American and (according to previous owner) re-lined and reframed in a Newcomb-Macklin frame. There is writing on the back of the frame but I can’t quite make it out. Overall in great condition with one pinhole near her chest area and two tiny spots of paint loss in the upper left corner (see pics). She’s a large beauty!
