A simply perfect Regency era antique oil painting on canvas of Chauncey Loomis. There is not much bad to say about Mr. Loomis - handsome, well preserved, and restored. Unsigned Painting circa 1810s in a gold frame. He has been restored and relined. Some minor marks to the frame and minor marks to the canvas with some in -painting.
Chauncey Loomis (1780-1817) was a NY state senator from Albany. He sat in senate from 1814 until his death in 1817.
