Absolutely gorgeous Regency period English Mahogany wood sarcophagus tea caddy. Purchased in Burton-on-the-Water, England and believed to be circa 1820. She’s a beauty - Just look at the brass floral handles and feet! Her interior and exterior are in excellent condition. No splitting or warping to the wood. Velvet rosette pattern interior lid and wood lidded compartments. The diamond on the front is inlaid wood in a lighter shade. Her only disclaimer is that she’s missing her mixing bowl and some age related patina to the brass. Overall just a large beauty!
