Antique Victorian complete five volume set of The Library of Wit & Humor. Published by Gebbie & Co, Philadelphia, 1885-86. First editions of three volumes and second editions of two. Three quarter calf leather with marbled boards, fore edges, and end papers. Such a handsome set! Volumes I, II, IV, & V contain pieces by Mark Twain (Jumping Frog, Story of the Bad Little Boy, Scriptural Panoramist, and two extracts from The Gilded Age). Minor wear and bumping to leather and some mild foxing to interior pages (mostly to outer edges of illustrated pages). Overall a very good attractive set!!
